The wallace

Located on the third level of the reconstructed Machine Shop in the vibrant Shipyards development, The Wallace is the setting for our Saturday evening banquet and awards evening. Access via side door, watch for signage.

How to get There

  • Public transportation from YVR: The Canada Line is Vancouver’s rapid transit rail connecting YVR to downtown Vancouver’s Waterfront Station in under 30 minutes. Visit YVR.ca for details on terminal locations. From the Waterfront Station, take the SeaBus to Lonsdale Quay, only a few minutes walk from the hotel.
  • Public transportation from the BC Ferries Tswwaassen or Horseshoe Bay terminals: Buses run regularly from both terminals. Plan your trip on Translink.
  • Driving: You can reach North Vancouver via Highway 1 from the east or Highway 99 from Pemberton and Whistler. If you’re coming from downtown Vancouver, you can take a scenic drive via Highway 99 through Stanley Park and over the landmark Lions Gate Bridge.

PARKING AT the pinnacle hotel at the pier

For registered guests staying at the Pinnacle Hotel, underground parking is available. Overnight parking rates are $29.00 per day (plus applicable taxes).

For non-registered guests, you are also welcome to use the underground parking. Daily parking rates are $29.00 per day (plus applicable taxes) and regular hourly parking is available from the parking meter located in the lobby.

Parking is subject to 24% Parking Sales Tax and 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST).

  • Chadwick Ct: 170 Chadwick Ct, at Carrie Cates Court and Chesterfield Court. $4.25 per hour. $25.25 daily maximum.

BOOKING A ROOM At the pinnacle hotel at the pier

The conference takes place at the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier, with a variety of rooms: Standard Mountainside King ($229), Standard Mountainside Two Doubles ($229) and Superior Harbourview King ($259).

Special Notes

  • Group rates are available until the cutoff date of Monday, January 29, 2024.
  • Group rates are subject to availability. Any additional guest rooms requested above the committed room block are not guaranteed to receive the discounted rate.
  • Each reservation is subject to 3% Municipal Hotel Room Tax (MRDT), 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) and 8% Provincial Sales Tax (PST). No resort fee.
  • Rates are for double occupancy. A fee of $30.00 will apply for each additional adult guest.
  • Free WIFI in guest rooms and function space.
  • Reservations must be cancelled on or before Monday, January 29, 2024 to avoid a full length of stay room and tax penalty.
  • Check-in time is after 3:00 pm on the day of arrival and check-out is 11:00 am.
