How to Become a Participant (Coupon Recipient):

BC Farmers’ Markets does not register or give out coupons directly to participants. Local community partners enrol and distribute the coupons.

How it works.

  1. The program is specifically targeted to the following populations: lower-income pregnant persons, seniors/elders, and families with children. In some instances, with external funding, a partner may support other populations.
  2. Please review our Where It Operates page to see if there is a Community Partner in your area participating in the program. This list will be updated for the 2024 season in mid-April.
  3. Spaces for the program are limited and most Community Partners are at capacity; however, they may be able to put you on their wait list if they have one.
  4. The Community Partner coordinates further steps toward becoming a participant, not the BC Farmers’ Markets.
  5. Please complete this short inquiry form if you would like us to share your interest with Community Partner(s) in your community.

Each household enrolled in the program may receive up to $27/week in coupons for up to 16 weeks. The program runs throughout the summer when produce is most abundant across the province.
