BCAFM Conference & AGM - Save the Date!
February 28 - March 2, 2014 in Vancouver
We are looking forward to working with the Vancouver Farmers' Market Society to put on a fantastic, conference this year. Keep your ears to the ground for more information about sessions, speakers, food and activities.
We are asking for your help to celebrate the amazing contributions of farmers’ markets and the people involved in them across the Province.
We plan to celebrate outstanding Farmers’ Markets, Farmers’ Market Managers and Market Vendors for the extraordinary contributions they make to our communities.
The winners will be honoured during an Awards Reception at the 2014 BCAFM Conference, Feb 28, March 1 and 2 in Vancouver, BC.
We are seeking your nominations in the following categories:
- Farmers’ Market of the Year ( in the categories of small, medium and large)
- Farmers’ Market Manager of the Year
- Farmers’ Market Vendor of the Year
Please think about which managers you look to as leaders, a special farmer or vendor who helps make your market sparkle or a market that shines with a vibrant atmosphere, excellent selection and good sales for vendors or a community member or partner who is of tremendous support to your market.
Nomination forms are available on the BCAFM website, and need to be submitted by February 1, 2014.
A committee of BCAFM partners and stakeholders will review the nominations and choose the winners.
