Up to 50 local families will be provided with access to locally-grown and nutritious food through a coupon system.
- 24-Jun-2008 13:00 CHNL: Claude Richmond says Kamloops residents on income assistance will once again be receiving coupons for nutritious food choices at the farmers' market as part of a second annual provincial initiative. The MLA remarks on how successful the launch was last year and notes that the $750k project will help close to 2,000 low-income families across BC.
